Bought this to workout at home. Bought on a Tuesday Afternoon.Assembled after I got it Home.
Assembly wasn't bad. Used it 2 Times a day for about 15-20 minutes each Time. On Saturday it locked up.Took it back to store On Sunday For Refund.

I got this, as well as a tredmil and bowflex, as a gift from my parents for Christmas. It was supposed to eliminate the hassle of gym fees, driving, and make my time much more manageable since I am a full time college student. I put it together Christmas morning and used it everyday for atleast 45 minute intervals for about 2 weeks before the squeeking began. I ignored it and checked all the bolts since my manual said that it would do that at first. After tightening over and over again the squeek never went away. It got worse! The squeek got louder and a grinding noise began during one of my workouts and I haven't been on it since. Now I'm disappointed, frustrated, and angry along with my parents. It's not worth it! I'm tossing mine in the garbage and getting a new one. I hope no one else has to experience what I have... :(

I am glad i did not read these reviews when buying this. I have a month of use on this so far at 3 times a week and have not had a single issue, if i do i will update my review though.

When comparing contruction to similiar priced machines, this one seemed far better. The instructions were the best i have had putting anything together in some time, hardware was seperated by step, good pictures, etc...

The programmed workouts are great and still have me hurting at the end. My only complaint is that I did not get a machine with a 18" stride, the 16" on the e500 are a little short.

I am taking back my second E500 in one one month! My brother-in-law and i both bought the E500 the same day. My first one started to squeak and then locked up. The same thing happended to my brother-in-law. The one i have now is starting to squeak really bad. We are both taking them back this weekend. Going to try the fuel. Thats 3 in less than one month!

I used the machine 4 times before it broke. I followed all the directions when putting it together. It came to a grinding, screeching halt.

I bought this machine hoping to get good quality out of it. But after a week of usage, it broke. I traded it in for a new one thinking my model was a fluke...was not so. Within two weeks of getting the new one it broke again. I called and had it repaired. It is broken again now. I haven't been able to use it steady for more than two weeks, and I'm always waiting for it to be fixed.

DO NOT BUY THIS MACHINE!!!!! Unless you don't mind waiting for it to be fixed.

I put the machine together on saturday, i used it saturday, sunday, monday, tuesday, and it broke, froze up, screeched to a halt on wednesday. I am 100 lbs under the weight limit of the machine, followed the directions exactly putting it together and only used it 30 minutes per use. I should have joined a gym, cost per use for me was $125. DO NOT BUY THIS MACHINE. ANOTHER INFERIOR PRODUCT MADE IN CHINA. The store should be embarassed to continue to sell this junk.

I loved this machine the first two weeks I had it. I used it about 5 times a week and so did my daughter. During the third week, it started making horrible grinding sounds. I looked it over and determined that the sound was coming from the main bolts coming out from the center wheel. Then it made a horrible screeching sound and stopped altogether. After just a few uses the unit started squeeking and was not smooth. Used it a couple of more times because the manual said it would squeek in the beginning. It only got worse and then completely locked up. I am going to atleast try to take it back and complain to Horizon.

The machine takes only an hour to put together with minimal skills.They include all the tools you need and the directions are great!My wife and I both use it for 30 minutes a day add have had no problems at all.We have had it for a month.Like any machine with moving parts after a few weeks you will need to re-tighten the bolts and put a drop of WD40 on the joints to eliminate a few minor noises.

This gives you a workout that you can really feel. The different workouts provided will work for the beginner to someone who works out daily. I run every other day, and the eliptical workouts on my off running days are more difficult.

Unit took three hours of careful assembly. Bought it on Monday, put it together Tuesday, it began making loud grinding noises and broke down on Friday after four uses less than a week after purchase. The hassles of getting it home, putting it together, and getting it resolved are not worth the low price. Careful, buyer beware..you get what you pay for.

I love this product! It's very sturdy and doesn't squeek or sound cheap like some other models. It's easy to move to another room if necessary too (just rolls away). It is a little tall (make sure your ceiling isn't too low!) I'm 5'2" and my head is about 4 inches from the ceiling when I use it. Overall though, I'm really glad I purchased this product! I've had it for less than a month and use it about 3 times a week and already see results!

This equipment has a great stride length and good versatility. It will give you a great work out without the aches and pains that a treadmill often delviers. It is easly to use and built well. I use it 6 days a week and it appears to be able to withstand the abuse. It is quiet and does not disturb others in my home. I really like the equipment.
