Awful bat. I know composites take a while to break in, but we used it all season (3 of us!) and it still was horrible. EASTON did however replace it with a brand new 2009 Synergy Reveal. I just got it today. We will see if it's better. DONT BUY THIS BAT, IT HAS NO POP!!!!!

Comments about Easton Easton SCX14 Synergy Extended Slow Pitch Softball Bat:

Ok, I bought this bat last year, May 25th. I took it to practice the next day and hit with it. It sounded hollow, but I figured it was because I didn't know all the eccentricities of a composite bat. The next night, my first AB I hit the ball what I thought was pretty clean and it dribbled to the pitcher. It also made a loud pop sound. I tapped it on the ground and sure enough, it was broken. I got a Warranty Replacement and babied it like crazy. I used it in three games and never got solid contact with it. Stored it properly over the fall/winter and when I brought it out a couple weeks ago, the replacement broke! So now I am waiting on my third bat. I am no HR hitter or Pro/Am type stellar player, but I would expect a bat that is this much should last at least ONE SEASON, not a dozen at bats! I bought a 40 dollar Easton and it broke too. I don't use cheap balls for BP or of course games, so it seems to me that Easton doesn't really care about their product. Say USER ERROR all you want, but I have a 30 dollar bat that it 14 years old and not one crack or dent in it, just scuffs from years of use. Don't waste your money on this one!!!

The people who wrote the previous comments must be using a different bat than what they are writing about. Great pop fresh out of the wrapper sending the first three at bats of the season to the wall... my guess, user error!

and retest these.

Just started using the bat. Vibrated quite abit out of the wrapper, but it has decreased since breaking it in. Got about 50 swings in. The pop is getting better. Happy so far with it.

Comments about Easton Easton SCX14 Synergy Extended Slow Pitch Softball Bat:

Not sure that this bat is as bad as some of the posts are making it out to be. Just bought it in the beginning of March. Used it a few times in BP to losen it up a bit. Have hit some good balls, and some not so good. Would not use this bat in anything colder than 60 degrees. This bat like any good composite bat will take a while to break in, but once they are good they will start to feel Hot with every swing. I think some people have not taken that into consideration. I will update you as my season gets into full swing and the bat warms up.

Comments about Easton Easton SCX14 Synergy Extended Slow Pitch Softball Bat:

The original Synergy was a good bat. These new models are really horrible. They sent me one as a replacement for a broken original Synergy. They do not even feel like the same bats. It busted in a few games. I would not buy one of these bats. There are much better choices for ASA play.

By Kyle H from Kenosha, WI on 5/15/2007

Comments about Easton Easton SCX14 Synergy Extended Slow Pitch Softball Bat:

This bat is probably the best overall ASA bat out there. Very few can beat the pop that this bat delivers and those that do beat it don't come close to the durability of this bat. It gets hotter with every swing.
