Great starter safe. Good value for a gun safe. Great for those who want more security than a "gun cabinet" can provide from curious children. Overall pleased with purchase. Heavy, around 750 lbs., need two or more people to lift and move...(Whew! almost killed my back!) but can be loaded and transported in a full size p/u bed or small to mid-size trailer.

I bought the 28 gun model. Its fine for the beginner or someone who just needs to secure gun and ammo from children. BUT its made of very thin sheet metal that needs to be a bit heaver. The safe is way too short. Don't plan on putting your goose shotgun in it. But I do like the color and the extra shelving it has. Lock mech. is very low grade. "But it is made in China" All in All it does the job. So i would recommend it to others for basic needs.

I just got this safe today but so far it has been good, I just about filled it up with my guns a few minutes ago and all it needs now is a little light and a dehumidifier which will come very soon. Waterproof thing is only for flooding, I figured it would be overall for the water damage from fires. Everything seems to good to go.
