Comments about Razor Razor E325 Electric Scooter:

Just bought this for our son's 9th birthday. After initial 12 hour charge (which we did prior to giving it to him) he was off. No problem handling it or learning how to use it. We all took a spin on it. Ages ranging from 8 to 48. Little too much for our 5 year old to handle. Definitely recommend for 8 and up. . The battery life depends on weight of rider. When we were all trying it (weight ranges from 50 lbs to 200 lbs.) the battery only lasted around 25 minutes. But with only my son and daughter riding it (they weigh 48 and 53 lbs.) the battery lasted around 40 minutes. Also the lighter you are the faster you go. My oldest son is 27 and weighs 150 lbs. and he was going quite fast on it. He even said it would be a great way for him to get around his neighborhood. It's very sturdy. Needless to say it was the hit of his birthday and we're very glad we got it for him. It doesn't go too fast and for a 9 year old it's the right speed. Older kids might find it a little too slow. Takes 8 hours to recharge (wish it was quicker). I was going to buy an extra battery for it but Razor didn't recommend it because they said if you let the battery just sit around it will go bad. They also said to make sure that we charge it once a month during the winter even when it's not being used so the battery stays good. I usually like having a spare battery around so I don't hear kids complain while it's charging but this requires more work then it's worth to change it. It's much easier to just pull up to an outlet and plug it in. The one thing I wish is that the battery would last longer than 40 mins and took less than 8 hrs to charge (just so I don't have to keep hearing kids ask "is it ready yet?"
Bottom line - If you're on the fence about purchasing this I say "go for it".

Comments about Razor Razor E325 Electric Scooter:

I got this scooter for Christmas. I charged it for whatever it was, like 12 hours or something, and the charge lasted like 10 minutes. Then I pluged it back in and the next time, the ride time was even less. Also, after the initial charge, the back wheel didnt start going for litterally 15-20 minutes. Every time, i would have to continue going on and off with the throttle until it started. Over all, I got about 2 hours worth of enjoyment out of this expensive scooter.
