This is a great reel. Everything works well on it with 10-14lb line , mono, braided , whatever. Really swooth and great construction. They don't get any better than this. The guy who wrote the 1 star rating above must not know how to use a baitcaster at all if he is having all those problems. It is not the reel it is his poor ablility to fish, or knowledge. :)
