This was SOOOOOOOO flimsy when i tried 2 tie a rope to it to hang myself,the thing fell down and nearly hit me!If i wouldn't have moved, it could have REALLY hurt me

Stand is a good buy for the money. I wouldn't suggest it for gun hunting unless you are using it in close quarters, but is great for bowhunting. It is also very easy to put in the tree because of its light weight.

THIS TREE STAND IS GOOD FOR THE PRICE. NOT A STAND I WOULD BUY TO SIT ALL DAY OR IF THIS IS THE ONLY TREE STAND I WAS GOING TO BUY. IT IS EASY TO PUT UP AND IS VERY STURDY. MAKE SURE YOU TAKE IT DOWN EVERY YEAR OR IT WILL RUST.

Somewhat heavy but that is expected for the low cost. Ratchet locking system is a bit awkward when setting up. A headache if setting up and taking down daily. Ratchet system does keep the stand steady.

Low cost; decent quality. I plan to buy a second one but I will leave them up for the 6 week hunting season. I don't consider this a portable stand to be carried distances.
